We here at Victor are proud to announce several projects across the company that all of you have made possible with your support in the last few years. First, you'll notice a few new sections on the website - including a 'coming soon' archive of digitized photos, letters, contracts from our company vault. Many of these have never been seen before - and it takes quite a bit of effort on behalf of our office to keep up with the assembling of this archive - while progressing the company. Please be patient - and please keep checking back as this will update periodically.
In terms of new music, Graham Alexander began sessions for his third LP at Victor Studio this week- and premiered some new songs at his show at The Cutting Room in New York City - October 6th. We'd also like to thank all of you that attended and supported Graham Alexander, music, and Victor. The name of the album will be announced very very soon- and from listening to these songs we can safely tell you that this album is shaping up to be the biggest album we've signed since the label relaunched.
This week, Victor executives met regarding the direction of the historic catalog of music - and we are proud to announce that we are working on several very unique box sets of classic Victor albums that we are incredibly excited about. We call this series Victor Camden Classics. Many of the albums will be available in both Vinyl and CD-
The Vault at Victor Records hosted (and is hosting) some incredible artists and songwriters including Leigh Nash (Sixpence None The Richer), Marshall Crenshaw, and Denny Laine. The Vault at Victor Records' chief sound engineer, Keith Hohing (and the label), have planned to make select live recordings available for streaming on victorrecords.com. It is our goal to give fans and friends of Victor unparalleled luxury musical content that is both exclusive to victorrecords.com - but also incredibly enjoyable. We believe you'll feel the same.....more on that soon!
Victor has long been known for its incredible hardware. The company as early as 1895 was creating world class home audio systems - and for several years Victor has been producing the JR-1 Turntable. This model has been discontinued as of September 2016 - and while we are sad to see our first model be discontinued - we are pleased to announce the expansion and upgrading of our turntable lines with the introduction of two incredibly cool Victor™ record players - which we will introduce to a redesigned store in the next two weeks.
